JobSelect

Packaging, Logo Design, Photography

The VP of FoodHandler tasked me with redesigning the JobSelect product line to create a modern, cohesive, and visually impactful shelf presence. The outdated packaging lacked the boldness to stand out in a competitive market.

I revamped the logo, switching to a tough black typeface to convey strength and professionalism, which set the tone for the new packaging. Clean layouts, vibrant color coding, and consistent typography ensured clear product differentiation and a cohesive brand identity. I also captured all the product photography, highlighting the items with high-quality, professional imagery.

This redesign revitalized the JobSelect line, enhancing its appeal and aligning it with FoodHandler’s mission.

FormFlex

Packaging, Logo Design

This project was a new product launch for FoodHandler, aimed at entering the value-line segment of the market to boost sales when needed. The VP of FoodHandler emphasized simplicity, requesting a minimalist black-and-white design to communicate the product’s affordability while maintaining a professional appearance.

I designed the packaging with a clean and straightforward aesthetic, ensuring the branding conveyed a clear “value” message without compromising legibility or shelf presence. Additionally, I developed the logo for FormFlex, incorporating a sleek “X” to add a touch of energy and modernity to the otherwise minimal design.

When FoodHandler expanded the line to include a blue variant, I adapted the packaging with a gradient of blue to differentiate the product visually, maintaining the simplicity while signaling the additional option. This project exemplifies the balance of meeting strict creative parameters while ensuring a design stands out in the marketplace.

Chef's Warehouse

Packaging

Chef’s Warehouse partnered with FoodHandler to launch a private label line of gloves, requiring brand-new packaging that aligned with their professional image. I designed the packaging to be clean and simple, with a focus on functionality and clarity.

To ensure the product line was visually cohesive yet easy to navigate, I utilized bold color differentiation for each glove type. This approach made it simple for customers to identify products at a glance while maintaining a polished and professional aesthetic. The overall design highlighted key product features prominently, ensuring the packaging was both informative and eye-catching.

This project demonstrated the power of minimalism and strategic design in creating packaging that aligns with a brand’s values and stands out in a competitive market.
